The Night Before BAFTA

Even before the Oscars, the buzz of the British Academy Film Awards in London injects the season with a unique energy, making one night in early February a highlight for everyone in the film business. In 1999, after twenty years abroad making films, Charles Finch returned to his British roots and celebrated his homecoming on the eve of the BAFTA Awards with the friends and fellow actors who had supported him throughout his career. Thus his now-famous pre-BAFTA party was born, and in the years since, Finch’s charismatic charm and creative skills have turned a private gathering into a highly anticipated star-studded bash.
